The scientific monograph “Wydarzenia bydgoskie 1939 r.” (Bydgoszcz Events 1939) is a result of the conference organised by the Institute De Republica, held on 3 September 2021, on the anniversary of the so-called Bydgoszcz Events – one of the most tragic episodes of September 1939.
The publication contains papers by eminent historians who for many years have researched the tragic events that took place in Pomerania, which were the result of the German invasion of Poland in September 1939.
