Year of Cyprian Norwid. Contest for the best monograph – results

We present the results of the contest for the best book publications on Norwid themes published in the years 2016-2021.

The Jury of the Contest, composed of: dr. hab. Bogumił Szmulik, university professor (President of the Jury); dr. hab. Tomasz Korpysz, university professor (member of the Jury); dr hab. Anna Kozłowska, university professor (member of the Jury); dr Magdalena Woźniewska-Działak, PhD (member of the Jury) and Łukasz Gołąb (secretary of the Jury), have decided to award the following prizes:

• 1st place – Edyta Chlebowska (ed.), Cyprian Norwid. Katalog prac plastycznych, Vol. I-V, Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, Lublin 2017-2020;
• 2nd place – Magdalena Karamucka-Marcinkiewicz, Antyczny Rzym Norwida, Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM, Poznań 2016 (first prize for 2nd place);
• 2nd place – Piotr Chlebowski, Studia i szkice interpretacyjne, CN 1-2, Wydawnictwo KUL, Lublin 2019 (second prize for 2nd place);
• 3rd place – Magdalena Siwiec, Sytuacja Norwida – Sytuacja Baudelaire`a. Paralele Nowoczesności, Towarzystwo Autorów i Wydawnictw Prac Naukowych Universitas, Kraków 2021.

as well as special awards:

• first special prize – Józef Franciszek Fert Norwid, Zdania i uwagi o społeczeństwie obywatelskim, Pewne Wydawnictwo (under the patronage of the Museion Foundation), Warszawa 2021;
• second special prize – Stanisław Falkowski, Gladiator prawdy. Norwid – poeta naszych czasów, Oficyna Wydawnicza Volumen, 2018;
• third special prize – Edyta Chlebowska (for the selection of works and commentary), Cyprian Norwid. Wierny portret, Pewne Wydawnictwo (under the patronage of the Museion Foundation), Warszawa 2021;
• fourth special prize – Adam Cedro (for editorial work), Cyprian Norwid. Wierny portret, Pewne Wydawnictwo (under the patronage of the Museion Foundation), Warszawa 2021.

The Contest was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.
