Rev. Dr hab. Krzysztof Warchałowski, University Professor

He is a holder of a postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in legal sciences in the field of public international law; professor at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw. He is employed at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the UKSW; in 2011-2019 Vice-Dean of the Faculty as well as Head of the Chair of Canon and Concordat Law.  His scholarly activity focuses on canon law and the protection of human rights, particularly the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion. He is a Judge of the Metropolitan Court in Warsaw and a member of the Legal Council of the Polish Bishops’ Conference. He has been honoured with the Silver Cross of Merit by the President of Poland for his scientific and academic activity.
