Dr hab. Filip Ciepły, University Professor

Filip Ciepły is employed in the Chair of Criminal Law at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) in Lublin. His scholarly activity focuses on criminal law, criminology, penology, criminal policy, penal policy in Poland, the European Union, the United States and Ukraine. He is the laureate of, among others, the competition for the best postdoctoral (habilitation) thesis in legal sciences of the Institute of Justice (IWS) in 2019, as well as the University Laurel – the Reverend Idzi Radziszewski Award (at the KUL) for the overall scientific achievements in 2020.
